IBZ V7 (Vintage 7) pickup is tight, but bright. Very dynamic for chording and rhythm. S1 single coil dishes out plenty of clear mids. IBZ V8 (Vintage 8) pickup is a warm, yet articulate lead pickup with enhanced overtones Good harmonics without excessive brightness.

The Ibanez RG1570 is ultimate shred guitar that will help you get that Vai or Satriani tone, but it can also play clean, blues, or whatever you want. It is a versatile guitar with a fast thin neck, and the tremelo will help with some cool sounds. It is a step up from many other guitars in the Ibanez RG series, and gets great reviews. However, there are a few people that like to improve the sound even more by changing the stock pickups (DiMarzio is a popular choice). Overall, a great electric guitar.
