Bottom Line:

This is a solid practice amp, or a good amp for beginners.  It is fairly basic…just a volume knob and simple EQ…but that is all you really need for practice or if you are just learning to play the bass.  You can’t get a huge range of tones, but the sound quality is fairly good.  This amp only costs about $69, and is better than several of the small beginner amps in this price range (for example, I would definitely recommend this over the Ibanez IBZ10B amp which is smaller but is the same price).

Obviously there are better amps out there.  If you can afford to spend a little more there are bigger amps available with more effects and better sound quality.  If you are an intermediate to advanced player, this is not an amp for loud playing or doing gigs but it is fine for quiet practice.  If you are a beginner, it is a solid amp to learn with.  Overall, this is nothing fancy, but is a nice affordable amp for beginners or practicing with.

Latest Price… Only $69 at Musiciansfriend.
